In the 20s, a lot of Voisin were used in events, mostly cycle races, and in the 30s, these cars were also frequently seen as following and sometimes official cars, it is the case here. Doctor Jonghit was aboard the Avions-Voisin below to followed, as a marshal, the 1930 rally Paris-Pyrénées-Paris.

The Dr Jonghi, his mechanic and their Voisin

A rally apparently difficult for the mechanics, with only 14 teams, engaged in three groups, the "blues" ( cyclecars of 350cc ), the "whites" ( cars - 1100cc ), and the "reds" ( subdivided into three classes: cars - 1500cc, 3000cc and 5000cc ).

Including a " concours d' elegance " (!), this competition ended by a 100 kilometer sprint on the Montlhéry autodrome, the rally being finally won by Robert driving a Gardner.
